Spring Trends

I am wearing four of my favorite trends for Spring and Summer in today’s outfit post: destroyed denim, an off-the-shoulder top, platform sandals, and round sunglasses. And while I’ve been playing around with the first three trends for quite some time now, I just recently purchased my first pair of round sunglasses. And I have so say, I am LOVING them. In fact, I just ordered a second pair with a gradient lens, as opposed to mirrored and I can’t for them to get here. I’d also love to know, what are some of your favorite trends for this season?

Green for Christmas

I love red and sparkles so much, sometimes I forget about wearing green during the holidays. So when I saw this choker top at Express, I knew it would be perfect back to my favorite black faux fur vest and studded booties. And not only does this look work perfectly for the holidays, it will work well beyond the month of December too.

Sequin Bomber

Two of my favorite trends this season? Off-the-shoulder tops and dresses, and over-the-knee boots. So it was an obvious choice to pair the two together. I love a good shift dress. And this placed print dress with lace trim from Express is an all-time favorite. Plus, if you don’t own this jacket yet, you NEED to ASAP. I’ve had it for a couple of seasons and it’s so good. I’ve even purchased it in a couple of other colors too. The fit is flattering, the material looks expensive, it goes with everything, and it’s under $100. Say what??!! In my opinion, this jacket is definitely the best value item you can add to your wardrobe this season.

I know I’ve blogged about these camis from Express before. But they are truly the best and worth mentioning over and over. Not only do they look great with jeans, slacks, jackets, and skirts, but they are reversible, so you are essentially getting 2 shirts for the price of one. And in my opinion, there is no better time than a change in season to stock up on basics.
