Faux Fur

When I was in the 3rd grade, my auntie gave me a gorgeous white fur coat for Christmas. And let me tell you, I was absolutely enamored with it. That is until I overheard she and my mom talking about it on the phone and the fact that it was made from “bunnies”. And after I heard that, I never wore the coat again. But even though I learned form a very young age that I was not a proponent of real fur, I did stumble upon a love for faux fur that has never wavered. And every year when the temperature drops, I look forward to pulling out all of my faux fur pieces, especially my faux fur vests!!

Fur and Boots

I love a good faux fur vest. So I am DEFINITELY glad that they are back in style this season. And while I typically tend to pair them with denim and tunics, they work equally as well when styled with dresses.

And can we talk about the booties in today’s post for minute? I shied away from them for quite a while because I just wasn’t sure about the price point or style. But I finally pulled the trigger and let me tell you…they are my absolute favorite pair of booties in my closet! Not only are they are super comfy, but they are really flattering with both denim AND dresses. So if you are looking for a great pair of booties to add to your closet this season (they also come in a great neutral brown color), then I would highly recommend these. And I’m not the only one who loves them either. They’ve been so popular, Nordstrom has been sold out for the few past weeks, but you are in luck because they JUST restocked them!
