Tie One On

I think it’s safe to say that this look is going to be a staple for me this summer. Since chambray shirts are always on constant rotation in my closet, it’s no wonder that I am loving the new sleeveless version hitting stores right now. And I’m particularly loving them when tied and worn over pretty summer dresses. A look that’s polished and sweet-but easy as one, two, three…

Lucky

I have to say it was a welcome change that this St. Patty’s Day, I didn’t have to search through my closet in hopes of finding something green to wear. But instead, had to narrow it down from several different options. And in doing so, not only was I reminded why I am so in love with the color of the year, but also that green and cobalt is one of my favorite color combinations. Ever.

Emerald City

A while back, I wrote this post about emerald, Pantone’s color of the year. And given its current popularity, coupled with the opening of Oz The Great and Powerful tonight, what can I say? Emerald is on my mind…

Color of the Year

My birthday falls in the month of May, which of course means that emeralds are my birth stone. And emerald green also happens to be one of my favorite colors. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when emerald was announced as the color of 2013. It’s a tough color not to love and I can’t wait to add more pieces in this rich, gorgeous hue to my wardrobe…
