Hooded Parka

I have to say, even though I grew up in Montana, and now live in Utah (making me a seasoned winter veteran), I am having a hard time getting used to the cold this year.  So thank goodness for hooded parkas with faux-fur trim, and cozy sweaters (this one is super soft and on major sale) to keep me warm!

OTK

I’m all about the booties this year (if you hadn’t noticed).  But also just as near and dear to my heart, are over-the-knee boots.  There are just so many cute styles available this season-many right around the $100 mark.  And for tall boots, that’s a pretty darn good deal.  So be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post to shop my favorites (all under $150)!dsc_2374 dsc_2368 dsc_2393 dsc_2355 dsc_2377 dsc_2424dsc_2344 dsc_2339 dsc_2414

Dress (under $50 and comes in a bunch of cute colors/prints!) | Necklace | Sunnies | Bag | OTK Boots (under $100!), also love these, these, these, these (velvet!) and these

I don’t know about you guys, but I stayed up late watching the election results last night.  I just couldn’t help myself.  Can you believe how intense it all was?  My head is still spinning!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Choker Collar

One trend I’ve been really excited to try this season is the choker collar. It’s a fun silhouette, that in all honesty, makes me a little nostalgic for the ’90’s.  Plus, how could I resist this dress once I realized it had pockets!  It also comes in a ton of fun colors and is less than $50!

Velvet

Velvet is one of my very favorite trends of the seasons.  In fact, velvet is always a favorite fabric of mine (particularly crushed), so I’m really glad that it’s going to be important to the Fall season and can’t wait to add more pieces to my wardrobe.  In fact, I’m thinking I would really like a pair of velvet heels or booties.  And maybe even a velvet bomber (see what I mean? I LOVE velvet!).  But I’d love to know, how are you guys feeling about this trend?

Bell Sleeves

I am loving this little navy dress.  Not only is it perfectly on point with the bell sleeves, but it’s also a great way to transition the off-the-shoulder trend into the Fall season.  Plus, at only $15, it’s a total must-have.

Stripes

I know I’ve blogged about these camis from Express before.  But they are truly the best and worth mentioning over and over.  Not only do they look great with jeans, slacks, jackets, and skirts, but they are reversible, so you are essentially getting 2 shirts for the price of one.  And in my opinion, there is no better time than a change in season to stock up on basics.  So if you are in the market for a great cami (that comes in tons of prints and solids), then this is the one!

Also, don’t put those white jeans away now that Labor Day has come and gone.  They are perfectly acceptable all year long!

Mad for Plaid

I’ve found that it doesn’t really matter the season, in my book, plaid always works.  And right now I am really loving this cute plaid tunic from Chicwish.  Since I’m short, I tied a little knot in it to give help give me some shape (a great trick for voluminous tops if you’re petite, like me!).  And when the temps drop (I can’t believe I’m even thinking about that already), I can’t wait to pair it back to leggings, boots, and a cute jacket.

Hope you guys are having a great week!  Is anyone else following the Olympics?  I am, and I am especially loving the diving and the gymnastics this year.  I just can’t seem to get enough!

Thanks for stopping by!

Floral Detail

This summer, one of my very favorite trends is white dresses.  And I especially love the dress in today’s post, because not only is it great quality for less than $35, but the pretty floral detail makes it extra-special. Plus, it’s easy to dress up with a swipe of red lipstick and some fun lace up heels, or simple to dress down with a nude lipgloss and gladiator flats.

Tassel Town

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve got a serious thing for tassels this summer.  I mean really, could they be more FUN? Plus, how cute is this dress? The quality is fantastic (for under $20!!), and the back just might be even cuter than the front.

Cha Cha Cha

I initially saw this dress on one of my very favorite fashion bloggers and fell in LOVE.  But when I saw the price, I was definitely hesitant about taking the plunge.  So when I stumbled on an amazing lookalike for less than $25, I didn’t even hesitate.  Not only is this dress totally on trend and SO fun with the tassels, but the quality is fantastic.  So if you’ve been eyeing the designer version of this dress, but have been apprehensive about the steep price tag (like me!), then this version of the dress is definitely for you!
