I don’t typically tend to gravitate towards a lot of black and white combos during the summer months. But when I saw this top, I absolutely fell in love with it. It is so fun and totally different from anything that I have in my closet. And that is exactly why I love shopping with ChicWish. They have so many feminine and unique pieces for really great prices. I’m always on the hunt for good basic tanks during the summer months. But they are surprisingly hard to find. I mean really, is it too much to ask for a solid tank that can be dressed up or dressed down, worn with shorts, skirts, and denim, doesn’t shrink when you wash it, and at a great price point? Apparently so! So when I stumbled on this cute Free People tank, I knew I had to give it a try. And I’m glad I did, because I’m loving it. Plus it’s only $20 and comes in a ton of colors. So if you are like me and looking for a go-to tank, I would highly recommend this one!

Today’s outfit is all about staples. This skirt from JCrew has been a tried and true favorite of mine for the past two seasons. And apparently I’m not alone, because they keep bringing it back year after year. It’s just that good. This tank from Old Navy is another piece that is going to be on heavy rotation in my closet for seasons to come. And these shoes? Definitely my go-to pair this season (in case you hadn’t noticed!). Not only are they super cute and comfy (and they go with everything!), but they are also on major sale right now too!

Though the seasons and trends come and go, long sleeve dresses have been at the top of my list for quite a while now. And this dress is a definite favorite. I tend to gravitate towards denim jackets when I’m looking for a layering piece to wear over a dress. But this spring, I have been starting to reach towards cardigans more often. And I have to say, I am loving the look and the ease of pairing a cardigan with a dress. A longer cardi is also a great option to wear over a dress that borders on the shorter side for a little added coverage.

Maxi dresses are always a favorite silhouette of mine during the summer months. But the dress in today’s post just might be my favorite maxi ever. I absolutely adore the unique cut, the fact that it’s striped, and you’ll never believe it, but it’s fantastic quality and less than $25. Trust me sweet friends, if you are going to add a new maxi to your wardrobe this summer, this is the one!
