Banana Republic has always been a staple among my favorite places to shop. But lately, I have found myself shopping there even more than usual. And not just for clothing, but for accessories and shoes as well. So when they recently reached out to see if I wanted to do a collaboration and have one of their in-house stylists send me a couple of items to style on my blog, I immediately obliged. And I have to say, the stylist couldn’t have picked two more perfect items for me. I have already gotten so much wear out of this lightweight merino sweater (I am also in LOVE with the color). This jacket is about the best thing in my closet right now. If it looks familiar, that’s because I own it in black and in a burgundy color and wear them both all of the time. In fact, I am in NYC right now and my black version was the first thing I packed for my trip. And the good news is, Nordstrom has it fully stocked in black, cognac, and this blush color right now. The fit is amazing, the faux leather is gorgeous quality, AND it’s under $100! I would highly recommend adding this piece (in at least one, if not two!), colors to your closet this season. It’s one of those classic staples that you will wear again and again (all year round), and I just can’t say enough good things about it!

Flower Power

I love a bold floral print. Especially when mixed with a good stripe. It has been one of my favorite ways to print mix for years, and I don’t see myself tiring of this combo anytime soon. One thing I learned when I started All Dolled Up is that my sense of style is pretty repetitive when it comes down to it. So blogging has been a great exercise for me to push myself to wear things I normally wouldn’t. But one item that has and always will be a favorite in my closet, is a great utility vest. And for me personally (all blogging aside), it really doesn’t get any better than a utility vest styled with my favorite leopard pumps, my favorite jeans, and my favorite thermal tunic top. So if you are looking for an easy, go-to outfit to add to your rotation, this is a great one that is super easy to recreate!

Mellow Yellow

Contrary to popular belief, pink is my 2nd favorite color. In fact, it’s yellow that has always had my heart. So when I saw this coat, I knew it was perfect for me. Plus, there is nothing better than a candy colored coat to brighten up a dreary winter day. Merry Merry

Merry Christmas Eve, sweet friends. I just wanted to take a minute away from the hustle and bustle of all of the craziness and wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas.

I have also been thinking a lot this Christmas season, that while it truly is the most wonderful time of the year for many, for equally as many, it can truly be one of the toughest times of the year. So I would challenge you all that as you are out and about running last-minute errands today, to follow through on those little acts of kindness that tug at our heart-strings but are so easy ignore the busier we are.

If you think something nice about a stranger you see, tell them. Open or hold a door for someone. Don’t be impatient with the sales clerk checking you out. Smile and say “hello” or “Merry Christmas” to people you pass. Buy a drink for someone at Starbucks. Help a little old lady with her groceries. Tell your family and friends how much you love and appreciate them. No matter how big or how small, YOU have the ability to really make a difference for someone who is hurting this holiday season and be a light for all to see the true meaning of Christmas. I love you all so much and am so grateful for all of your support this year. Thank YOU so much for following along with me on this journey.

Red and Green

Okay, okay. So as cliché as it might be this time of year, I do love a good old red and green combo. Particularly when it is slightly more subtle than a traditional Christmas red and green. So with that said, for today’s outfit, I substituted Kelly green with olive, which slightly tones down the combo. And while it still feels festive, it isn’t over the top. Can we also talk about this jacket for a minute? Not only is it super soft and comfy, but it’s also under $30! Amazing!
