My BF

I love boyfriend jeans.  They are so comfy, and casual, but also look fantastic dressed up back to heels and a cute top.  In fact, I think it’s one of the spring trends that everyone should invest in.  But be forewarned, it might take some trying on to find the perfect pair that work for your body type.  In fact, it took me quite a while to find a pair that were both flattering and comfy-but they were definitely well worth the effort!

Besides boyfriend jeans, I also can’t seem to get enough these nude pumps.  They are a fantastic staple piece for any closet and go with just about anything.  So get ready, because you will probably be seeing them on the blog a lot.

Hope you are all having a good week!

The Blues

I know that for most, blue is a favorite or go-to color.  But for me, it’s never been a super common hue in my wardrobe (outside of my denim).  That is until this season.  For some reason, as of late, I have been craving all things and all shades of blue.  From shoes, to bags, to clothes, I think it’s pretty safe to say that this spring, I’ve definitely got the blues…

Down On the Farm

Our weather has been a little crazy the past few days (nice one minute, then raining, or snowing the next!), so between that, and our busy schedules, it’s been a little hard to coordinate for blog photos this week. So yesterday after work, J and I decided to meet at a beautiful historic farm pretty close to our house.  And even though it was freezing cold while we were shooting, I loved the location and can’t wait to shoot more photos there-even if we did get chased down by some whopping big snow geese!

And do you know what else I am loving? The simplicity of today’s outfit.  Black and white is all the rage this season, and I love it paired back to simple chambray, nude pumps, and a bold lip.  Another one of those looks that is so easy to put together, but makes you looked you really put some effort in!

Minted

If you didn’t add anything in the shade of mint to your Spring/Summer wardrobe last year, then it should be at the top of your list this season. I know I for one, am happy to see that it’s still going strong this Spring.  It is such a beautiful, fresh hue, and looks fantastic back to so many different accent colors, skin tones, and pretty much every single hair color out there.  Mint really is the perfect complement to the warmer weather we all are either anxiously anticipating, or are already lucky enough to be enjoying…

I also just have to comment on how much I am LOVING my mirrored Ray-bans.  They are such a fun purchase and I love how you can dress them up or dress them down.  I would highly recommend them if you are looking to add a new pair of shades to your spring ensembles!

Panama

I love a good hat.  And while I have been really into fedora’s the last couple of years, I think that this year, the Panama hat might just be my new favorite.  But since I am a firm believer that a gal can never have too many hats in her wardrobe, there will be plenty of room for both in mine this season. Not only are hats an ideal statement piece, but they are the perfect secret weapon for combating those less than stellar hair days…

Happy Monday!

Vest Friend

This vest has been my best friend lately and on constant rotation in my closet.  Not only is it the ideal outfit completer, but vests are the perfect transitional piece for this time of year.  And how about these Michael Kors shoes?  I am OBSESSED!  Not only are they super cute, but they just might be the comfiest pair of shoes in my closet right now…

ModCloth and All Dolled Up

Mod Cloth Evening of Extravagance Dress

I am so excited to be teaming up with ModCloth today as a part of their Polyvore outfit challenge!  If you are familiar with ModCloth, then you will know why I was so thrilled when they contacted me.  And if you aren’t familiar with this fantastic online retailer, then run (don’t walk!) to their website.  NOW!  Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
And with that, today I am bringing you my first challenge.  And that was to style the beautiful Evening of Extravagance Dress.  And I have to say, with Valentine’s day just around the corner, I couldn’t help but be inspired to pair it back to red and leopard.  Awfully fitting, don’t you think?
You can shop my look through the links above, or create your own at ModCloth!
Happy Thursday Dolls!

Sleeved

I have had my eye on this leopard sleeved Townsen sweatshirt for SO LONG!  But I just couldn’t justify paying full price for it (because I don’t pay full price for anything-seriously!).  So when it went on sale for less than half price right after Christmas, I knew I had to pounce (no pun intended!).  And I am certainly glad that I did.  If you follow me on Instagram (AllDolledUpBlog), then you know I rocked a very similar outfit to this one a couple of weeks ago for a shopping date with one of my best friends at Nordstrom.  And there was so much interest in the details of my look, that I decided it should make an appearance on the blog.  So all of you ladies who wanted outfit details, please see below!

I hope that you all had a most wonderful Super Bowl weekend!  We had a great weekend skiing at the resorts and in the backcountry, celebrating the 4th birthday of one of our very favorite little guys, and of course cheering on the Seahawks and the Broncos in the Super Bowl!  It’s not very often that all your homies from the west make it into the big dance.  So even though we may have slightly sided with the Broncos (Peyton is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met), it was still pretty rad to see the west  represent!

Happy Monday!

Casual Friday

Blogging is a very interesting world to be a part of.  In fact, all of social media for that matter.  We have the option to share with the world only what we want them to see-often times making our lives seem a little (or a lot) more perfect and glamorous than they really maybe are.  Truth be told, I have a very demanding full-time job and so when I take photos for this blog, half the time I’m throwing something together as my husband is running out the door for work and we snap off a few rushed photos with our neighbors looking on (surely thinking we’re crazy).  It’s not a fancy affair by any means (one of these days I’ll have to do an outfit outtake post so you guys can see just how awkward I really am in front of the camera).  And while I try my best to give you guys a variety of outfit ideas from week to week, in my real, day-to-day life, I am pretty casual.  And on the weekends, you can be sure that I am usually rocking some variation of the below ensemble…

Happy, happy Friday to all of you!  My hubby is a away at a bachelor party and one of my best girlfriends is coming to the SLC to spend the weekend with me.  I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for a girl’s weekend!  Not to mention the fact that the Sundance Film Festival kicks off this weekend!  Be sure to follow along on Instagram to keep up with all of the adventures!

Happy weekend, dolls!

Tried and Tulle

To say I can’t get enough this Lookbook Store jacket would be an understatement.  I adore it.  I also adore this American Eagle dress-even though it’s a couple of years old.  And with the tulle trend still in frenzy mode, I am certainly glad that I have held onto it.  It’s definitely on frequent repeat in my closet and even on the blog!  You can see another favorite way I’ve styled it here

So I have to say, I absolutely LOVE these shoes, and I am super bummed about the dye transfer on them around my ankles (yikes!!).  So I have to ask, does anyone out there have any good products or remedies to remove denim markings from suede?  Please share if you do!  Otherwise, these shoes are going to have to be worn with pants only from here on out!

Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments and support.  I appreciate you guys so much!
