In The Details

I’m not sure why, but I always feel like it’s more challenging to find cute long sleeved tops then it is to find cute short sleeve or sleeveless tops.  So when I find one, I typically tend to snatch it right up.  And the long sleeve top in today’s is exactly one of those pieces.  Not only is it darling and a great price point, but the white is on trend for the season, and all of the pretty embroidered colors will make it easy to style a number of different ways. It’s pretty much a no-brainer to add to your wardrobe this Spring.  And if you’re not a fan of white, don’t worry, it comes in navy too!

#itsBanana

Banana Republic has always been a staple among my favorite places to shop.  But lately, I have found myself shopping there even more than usual.  And not just for clothing, but for accessories and shoes as well.  So when they recently reached out to see if I wanted to do a collaboration and have one of their in-house stylists send me a couple of items to style on my blog, I immediately obliged.  And I have to say, the stylist couldn’t have picked two more perfect items for me.  I have already gotten so much wear out of this lightweight merino sweater (I am also in LOVE with the color).  And these fringe sandal couldn’t be more on point for the season.

So whether Banana is a favorite of yours (like mine!), or you haven’t checked out a Banana in a while, be sure to pop into your local store, or stop by online to check out the rest of Banana’s amazing Spring lineup.  There are so many good things to choose from, I don’t even know where to start!

Sweater: Banana Republic c/o (comes in lots of colors and is 40% with code: BRSPRING)

Skinnies: Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply (on sale!)

Necklace: BaubleBar

Sunnies: Karen Walker

Clutch: Clare V.

Heels: Banana Republic c/o (40% off with code: BRSPRING), also loving these

Happy Friday, sweet friends!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Thank you so much for stopping by!

Easter Traditions

Every year since I can remember, I have looked forward to getting a new dress for Easter Sunday.  When I was growing up, my mom would always take me shopping for something new, which most likely involved gloves and a bonnet.  And to this day, it’s a tradition that I still adhere to and love (well maybe minus the gloves and the bonnet!).

And this year, when I started looking for a dress, Chic Wish was the first place I started.  Lately, they have become my go-to for pretty dresses, skirts, and oh-so feminine tops.  They offer gorgeous pieces that are fantastic quality without breaking the bank.  So if you are looking for something pretty and unique, be sure to check them out.

DSC_6183 DSC_6158 DSC_6146 DSC_6118 DSC_6153 DSC_6144 DSC_6171 DSC_6143 DSC_6157 DSC_6170

Dress: Chic Wish c/o AND it’s under $55!!! (it runs a little small in the arms/shoulders; I am normally a size small, or 4/6, and am wearing a large in this dress-but the quality is FANTASTIC!)

Bracelets: Tiffany and Co., Stella & Dot, JCrew

Sunnies: Prada (obsessed!)

Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (old), LOVING this

Heels: Banana Republic (SUPER comfy!), also own and love these

And on a more serious note, if you live in the SLC and are looking for a place to attend an Easter service, or if you are just curious about Jesus and a God who is crazy about YOU (no matter what baggage you THINK you might have), then come, just as YOU are, for what is bound to be an amazing experience at Antioch SLC (and if you aren’t in the SLC, that’s ok-there are Antioch Churches all over the country!).  To be 100% real with you guys, the past few months have been proven to be a pretty challenging season in my personal life, and I have found so much grace and solace through Antioch.  It’s truly a special place, and I have a feeling Easter is going to be pretty incredible. The service is at 5pm on Sunday at the Falls Event Center at Trolley Square.  I will be there and would love to see some of your beautiful faces!  So be sure to come and say “hi” if you decide to check it out.

Antioch

Happy Friday, my sweet friends, and happy Easter weekend!  Love you guys!!!

Staples

Yesterday I talked a little bit about the importance of having balance between classic and fashion pieces in your wardrobe.  But another important closet category that I didn’t mention, is staple pieces.  If you have been following this blog for any amount of time, then you know staples are something I talk about a fair amount, i.e. denim jackets, surplus vests, nude pumps, black handbags, dark wash skinny jeans, etc.  And so today, I wanted to highlight one of my personal favorite closet staples, and that is a casual long-sleeved black dress.

This closet staple is the perfect blank canvas, is easy (and comfy!) to throw on and go, and can be styled in a plethora of different ways.  So if you don’t own a casual long-sleeved black dress, then you are in luck, because I’ve listed my favorites below!

Girly

I’m not the most quintessentially “girly” dresser.  And while I love dresses and skirts, I typically tend to gravitate towards denim.  However, when I spotted this cute skirt, tied with a bow, I knew it would be a great piece to add to my wardrobe.  Especially since it’s under $30!

Plus how great are these Valentino dupes?  Not only are they super comfy (and cute!), but they are under $70!

DSC_5905 DSC_5914 DSC_5929 DSC_5892 DSC_5898 DSC_5933 DSC_5952 DSC_5941 DSC_5902 DSC_5937 DSC_5956Top: ASOS (such a great basic to wear with skirts, and also looks amazing with flare jeans!)

Skirt: Shein c/o (love! such great quality; I’m wearing a medium for reference; also comes in black)

Necklace: BaubleBar (just ordered it in hot pink too!)

Clutch: Lany c/o (stay tuned for an upcoming giveaway!)

Sunnies: Karen Walker via Ditto (rent them for free for one month with code: ALLDOLLEDUP at checkout!)

Pumps: BCBG (SO comfy and come in tons of colors!)

Designer Handbag Hack

Ok, confession time.  I LOVE handbags.  Like, seriously love them.  But what I don’t love, are the crazy high price points.  And while I can score pretty much anything for a good deal (it’s my hidden talent!), I’ve found that it’s nearly impossible to get an authentic designer bag at a discount.

So I couldn’t have been more thrilled to discover Trendlee.  Not only do they buy and sell gently used designer bags (and I’m talking all of the current coveted brands and styles), but they authenticate everything, so you never have to worry about whether or not you’re getting the real deal.  I mean seriously, how gorgeous is this pink Prada?  And I swear, if I didn’t know better, I would think that it’s brand new.  It is in absolutely flawless condition.  So be sure to swing by their site to check out their inventory (they add new bags all the time!).  AND be sure to enter code: ALLDOLLEDUP at checkout to save 5% off of your order!!!

Prada Bag: Trendlee  (enter ALLDOLLEDUP at checkout to save 5%!!)

Top: Nordstrom (obsessed!)

Skinnies: 7 for all mankind

Necklace: French Kande (enter ALLDOLLEDUPBLOG in the comments at checkout and get a FREE pair of earrings!)

Bracelet: Chan Luu

Sunnies: Prada

Pumps: Jessica Simpson

And a very Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all of you!  I hope you have something fun planned today and tonight.  Be safe and enjoy!

The Bomb

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of a great surplus jacket.  And you know what else I love?  A good bomber jacket.  I really find that this time of year, jackets are just my jam.  Whether you wear one with a dress, or style it back to jeans, jackets are the quintessential layering piece for the always unpredictable Spring weather!DSC_5376 DSC_5375 DSC_5409 DSC_5437 DSC_5431 DSC_5403 DSC_5399 DSC_5424 DSC_5414 DSC_5469Jacket: Make Me Chic c/o (wearing a size small for reference)

Dress: Nordstrom (obsessed with these AND they are under $50! see how I styled it in pink here, and in red here)

Necklaces: Stella & Dot (old), LOVE this

Cuff: Stella & Dot

Bag: Marc Jacobs (old), OBSESSED with this

Sunnies: Prada

Booties: BCBG, LOVE these for Spring

Happy Hump Day friends!

Abby

Favorites

Not all outfits are created equal.  There are always some that I love more than others, and this is definitely one of those.  Perhaps it’s because this dress reminds me of something that I wore when I auditioned for collegiate music programs back in the day, or perhaps it’s because it incorporates so many of my favorite things (surplus vest, yellow pumps, Panama hat, dress with pockets, etc.) into one look.  Whatever the reason, this is just one of those outfits that really feels like “me”, and one I can’t wait to wear again!

HAPPY, HAPPY FRIDAY friends!  I am FINALLY starting to feel better, so hoping to be able to enjoy the weekend and not spend it in bed like I did last weekend.  Hope y’all have something fun planned!
