Green Suede Jacket

I am all about shades of green this season. In fact, I can’t seem to get enough. And while I’m typically drawn to shades of olive, hunter green has been at the top of my list this year. It just feels like such a fresh and updated take on this versatile shade-particularly when it’s done in suede.

Olive and nude is always a favorite color combo of mine. And this olive tunic is so soft and cozy (and under $40!), it’s pretty much my favorite purchase of the Fall season. I’m also loving this faux suede vest. It is just one of those pieces that I will be able to get a ton of wear out of. And you know I always love (and recommend) pieces that are a good investment!

Since you guys loved this top so much when I posted it on my Instagram, I wanted to share it on the blog today. The cold-shoulder trend is one of my favorites, and when I saw this cute little number for less than $30, I immediately snatched it up. It also comes in a pretty nude color, but it’s selling out fast, so definitely grab one while you can. It’s SO good!

Leopard and Lace

I love a good shift dress. And this placed print dress with lace trim from Express is an all-time favorite. Plus, if you don’t own this jacket yet, you NEED to ASAP. I’ve had it for a couple of seasons and it’s so good. I’ve even purchased it in a couple of other colors too. The fit is flattering, the material looks expensive, it goes with everything, and it’s under $100. Say what??!! In my opinion, this jacket is definitely the best value item you can add to your wardrobe this season.

I’m pretty sure the best part about Fall fashion is layers. I love throwing on a cute sweater, my favorite surplus jacket, and a cozy scarf. And these booties? They are hands down my favorite, and they come in a bunch of colors. Definitely worth every penny.

I lead a super active lifestyle here in the SLC, so am always on the lookout for cute athleisure clothes that I can wear to the gym or on a hike, and also out and about to run errands. So when Fabletics opened a store front at our City Creek Center, I couldn’t have been more excited. Not only is their clothing super cute with pieces that work well for an active lifestyle, but the pricing is really affordable too. Velvet

Velvet is one of my very favorite trends of the seasons. In fact, velvet is always a favorite fabric of mine (particularly crushed), so I’m really glad that it’s going to be important to the Fall season and can’t wait to add more pieces to my wardrobe. In fact, I’m thinking I would really like a pair of velvet heels or booties. And maybe even a velvet bomber (see what I mean? I LOVE velvet!). Fall Sweater

One of my favorite things about living in Utah is the Fall season. Typically the weather is balmy and the colors in the mountains are off the hook. But this year, we got our first snow a little earlier than usual, which made for some especially gorgeous scenery this weekend, and a drastic drop in temperature, leaving me scrambling to pull out some warmer Fall layers. Thank goodness I had recently picked up this sweater from Nordstrom. And I have to say, if you are going to buy one thing for your closet this season, it should be this sweater. Not only is it less than $40, but it comes in a ton of colors and is the perfect staple to add to your wardrobe.

First Day Of Fall

Happy first day of Fall, friends! Can you believe that summer has officially come and gone? I always hate it when summer goes, but I am definitely ready for all things pumpkin and cozy. The only problem is, it’s been blazing hot here in the SLC, which has made it nearly impossible to layer up. But I’ve still been able to get a start wearing my favorite Fall trends by adding things like lace-up pumps, and cocoon vests to my looks. A perfect (and easy) way to get that Fall vibe while the weather is still hot.
