Maybe I should apologize in advance, but from here on out, you guys are going to be seeing a lot of off-the-shoulder tops and dresses on my blog. It’s is just one of those trends that I seem to keep reaching for. And this top? A hands down favorite of mine. I love the strapless style, the color, the fabric, and especially the price. It Dress

Maxi dresses are always a favorite silhouette of mine during the summer months. But the dress in today’s post just might be my favorite maxi ever. I absolutely adore the unique cut, the fact that it’s striped, and you’ll never believe it, but it’s fantastic quality and less than $25. Trust me sweet friends, if you are going to add a new maxi to your wardrobe this summer, this is the one!

I love a good tunic paired back to skinny jeans and a staple pair of pumps. It’s definitely a go-to look for me. And when I’m on the hunt for a new tunic, Free People is always a brand that I look to first. They have some of the best tops around, in my opinion. Particularly if you are looking for something flowy and comfortable for summer.

Romper Time

I LOVE rompers! So I am really glad that they are back in a big way this season. And even though the temps have been a little chilly in the SLC, I have still been able to wear some of my favorites by pairing them with denim jackets and cozy cardigans (like in today’s post). With all the crazy weather we’ve been having here in the SLC this Spring, layering has definitely been a must!

Statement Shoes

I used to be a Footwear Buyer and Designer when I first began my career in the Fashion Industry. So I have always had a fondness for shoes. In fact, often times when I put an outfit together, I plan it around a specific pair of shoes that I feel like wearing. So when I saw these stunners in NYC a couple of weeks ago, I absolutely could not resist them. Not only are they super fun (and totally on trend with the tassels and lace-up styling), but are really comfy to boot. Not into the silver? Well don’t worry. They also come in a few other colors, which I have linked below as well.

Jacket: cabi (my favorite!!)

Dress: Shein c/o (runs a little small through the shoulders and hips-so size up if in between sizes! for reference, I’m wearing a small, but wishing I had the medium!)

Budget Denim

Truth be told, I am a creature of habit when it comes to denim. AG and 7 for All Mankind are by far away and my favorite brands and have been for several years. I’m also a fan of Paige, Joe’s, and Citizens. But I don’t necessarily love the high price tag of these designer brands. So every now and again, I’ll test out denim brands based on trend.

And that’s what led me to these jeans. I saw one of my favorite bloggers, Emily, from The Sweetest Thing, wearing this specific pair and I thought they were so cute (she tends to wear the same brands of denim that I do), that I decided to give them a try. And I am SO glad that I did! Not only are they cute, comfy, and fit true to size, but the best part? They are on sale for less than $90! So if you are looking for new denim for the spring season, I would highly recommend these!
