I love me some arm candy, or an arm party, or a little wrist bling-whatever you want to call it. It’s such a fun (and affordable!) way to change up an outfit. And while of course anything goes, I am definitely finding myself gravitating towards the mix of girly and edgy. Specifically, bows and spikes paired together in perfect harmony. I mean really, where else can you get away with a combination like that?

Spring Fever

I had such a fabulous time on Friday night at the Fashion Place Mall spring fashion event. The show was fantastic, and I had the chance to meet some of my favorite local Utah bloggers! It was the perfect way to not only kick off spring fashion, but launch myself directly into full-fledged spring fever! And, of course, it was an excellent excuse to wear my new favorite skirt…

April Showers

And with the 1st of April, came the rain. Thank goodness we have the beautiful blooms of May waiting for us on the other side. But in the interim, a fun umbrella just might be a good thing to add to your wardrobe. Better to be soggy and stylish than just plain soggy.

When it’s rainy out, the very last thing I want to do is throw on a fancy outfit. So in addition to a fun umbrella, cute accessories are another simple way to brighten things up a bit. An easy way to chase those rainy day blues? Don’t mind if I do.

I always love a good excuse to get dressed up, but I especially love Easter and the reason why we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. It is always one of my very favorite days of the year. And of course I love Reese’s Peanut Butter eggs. I mean really, why is it that they are so much better than regular Reese’s anyway?

I love a good tassel necklace. Maybe it’s because I’m from Montana and they remind me of a (fashionable) bolo tie, or maybe it’s just because they feel so new and different this season. Either way, a tassel necklace is an easy piece for anyone to wear and something simple (and inexpensive) everyone should add to their wardrobe this spring!

My Vest Accessory

If you follow this blog, then you know how obsessed I have been with my denim vest over the span of the last year. And to be totally honest, I don’t see my love affair with denim vests dying out anytime soon. But when I was in H&M recently and spotted this long, lean, surplus vest complete with a little sparkle, I knew my favorite denim version might finally have met its match.
