FPF: Smashbox Brow Tech To Go

Eyebrows are important. Like really important. They frame the eyes and give definition to the face. But all too often, I see women neglecting their eyebrows. And while I must admit that at first I found the thought of penciling in my eyebrows to be a little bit daunting, ever since I discovered Smashbox Brow Tech To Go, my eyebrows are neglected no longer.

Brow Tech To Go is quite simply a pared down, travel version (but full size) of the famed Smashbox Brow Tech. There is nothing intimidating about this brow pencil, and it’s so easy to use, there is virtually no room for error. And not only that, but I love that it is one piece instead of 3 or 4 (like most brow kits) which makes it a quick and easy step to add to your beauty routine. Fashion Fusion SLC (and a contest!)

It’s one of my very favorite weeks of the Fall-New York Fashion Week. It’s the first time we get to see a glimpse of what lies in wait for us in Spring 2014 and all of the colors and trends that will rule the season. EXCITING!!!

And for those of us who live in Salt Lake but don’t have the luxury to travel to NYC to take in all of the shows, good news! There is still a chance to celebrate in style at Fashion Place mall tomorrow night, September 6th, at 7pm for the 1st Annual Fashion Fusion Event!! FPF: Summer Round-Up

Does anyone else feel like Labor Day is the most bittersweet weekend of the year? Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE fall (especially fall clothes), but it makes me so sad to say goodbye to summer every year (probably because I know a long winter awaits us just on the other side). And while I am looking forward to a nice 3-day weekend up in Park City with family and friends, I have to say that this girl is pretty darn sad to see summer go. So in honor of my favorite season, I thought I might post a round-up of my favorite All Dolled Up looks of the summer….

I hate to admit it, but fall is in the air. And as I feel the crispness start to infiltrate early mornings and late evenings, I can’t help but find myself drawn to more transitional pieces. Particularly anything leather, leopard, or with studs.

I will always have a love affair with my home state of Montana. There is just something so special about it that I can’t explain. It was the most incredible place to grow up and someday I hope I can raise my children there, or that it will, at the very least, be an important part of their lives too. And because I was lucky enough to marry a man who loves Montana as much as I do, every summer, J and I make a trip back to my hometown to soak in the beauty, the serenity, and all of the amazing-ness that is Montana. FPF: Gold Cuff

So I guess it’s been a little while since I shared a favorite item with you all on a Friday. And today I wanted to talk about my summer obsession with gold cuffs!! I just can’t seem to get enough of them (if you hadn’t figured that out already!). They are a great statement and the perfect way to add a little interest to any outfit-whether it be dressed up or dressed down. Plus they are an easy alternate to an elaborate arm party-especially on a hot day when the last thing you feel like doing is piling on the jewelry…

Both of my cuffs featured in the above photos are older styles from H&M, but I am currently crushing on this style, this style, and this style.

J and I are heading on our annual summer vacation to Montana in just a few hours, and I absolutely cannot wait for a week of fun in the sun with family and friends in the beautiful Flathead Valley! I will however, still be posting next week, so be sure to stop by the blog!
