Happy Thursday, everyone! I am on the road again this week for work, and enjoying the opportunity to spend some time in my home state of Montana. But truth be told, I am ready to be home and sleep in my own bed.

But in the meantime, today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite combinations-camo and hot pink. And while I wouldn’t initially have thought to put this outfit together, I happened to try on this sweater while I was wearing these pants running errands a couple of weekends ago and loved the way they looked together. And once I added pink accessories, I was sold! A perfect and fun go-to outfit for the transitional season between winter and spring!

Shades Of Gray

It’s been so gray the past couple of days, the weather must have seeped into my subconscious and impacted my wardrobe-a gray ensemble for an equally gray day. But of course, I couldn’t let the dreariness completely overtake my outfit, and decided to brighten things up a little by adding a pair of yellow pumps. Yellow and gray, after all, is one of my favorite color combinations. Ever.

Also, while I don’t normally get too personal on the blog, I felt it pressing on my heart to share this story with all of you. Sarah grew up down the street from me and at 32 years old is battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer. And not only does she have a difficult fight ahead of her, but she has two young children and a husband to think about. Please keep she and her family in your prayers, and if you feel so inclined to donate, there are links in the article (it’s super easy). And feel free to share her story and spread the word if you feel so inclined.

Reading Sarah’s story reminds of how important it is to be thankful for my health. It is something so easy to take for granted, but yet it is so incredibly precious. A good and humbling reminder…

Leopard on leopard. What do y’all think? Yay or nay? I think yay. I am obviously a huge fan of print mixing, but typically gravitate towards pairing different patterns together (florals and stripes, stripes and leopard, polka dots and stripes, etc.). And while I believe it’s perfectly acceptable to mix two of the same print together, it definitely works best if you follow a couple of rules. The first is that the patterns are in the same or a complimentary color palette. And the second is that the size of the two different prints are contrasting. Pretty easy, don’t you think?

So, I almost didn’t have any blog photos to share with you guys this week. For once, I was actually ahead of the game and shot some pics over the weekend, but when I went to import them into Lightroom, I received a dreaded error that my SD card was corrupted. I tried everything to retrieve the photos, but no luck. So thank goodness for my tech savvy hubby who was able to save the day for me! And so, in today’s outfit, it should be noted that the message on my new favorite graphic tee is not just dedicated to my love for the combination of neon yellow, and blue, but also, specifically to him. I love boyfriend jeans. They are so comfy, and casual, but also look fantastic dressed up back to heels and a cute top. In fact, I think it’s one of the spring trends that everyone should invest in. But be forewarned, it might take some trying on to find the perfect pair that work for your body type. In fact, it took me quite a while to find a pair that were both flattering and comfy-but they were definitely well worth the effort!

Besides boyfriend jeans, I also can’t seem to get enough these nude pumps. They are a fantastic staple piece for any closet and go with just about anything. So get ready, because you will probably be seeing them on the blog a lot.
